Thank you to everyone who attended our Second General Body Meeting! Over 40 students attended, with almost half of the students being upperclassmen. Pizza, chicken wings, and salads were catered from We, The Pizza.
This year, our Second General Body Meeting (GBM) was themed as a relaxed game night. Thanks to all of the kind APALSA members who loaned their board games. We look forward to welcoming the students and attorneys who have RSVPd for Big Law 101 on Tuesday, October 15 from 6:00-8:30pm. Big Law 101 is APALSA's annual, largest professional event of the fall semester, bringing in 75-100 students every year. This year, we are pleased to invite five panelists from our top sponsors: Gibson Dunn, Sidley, Orrick, and Akin Gump. The panel will occur in Hart Auditorium. We are also thrilled to invite representatives from our 20+ firm sponsors to our reception in the Market Cafe. Dress attire is business casual, and food (including vegetarian and gluten-free options) will be provided by B.Lin Catering. Please note that this event is RSVP only and that RSVPs closed on Thursday, October 10. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
