About: Oliver is a 2L from Southern California. He enjoys reading Presidential biographies, snowboarding, watching films [sic], and working on his golf swing. Before law school, he ran an entertainment company that organized Electronic Dance Music events throughout California and worked as a college affordability advocate. Outside of APALSA, he serves as the Co-President of the First Generation Student Union.

Freya Wang

About: Freya is a 2L at Georgetown Law with an interest in technology transactions. She is from Nanjing, China, and graduated from Nanjing University in 2025 with a B.A. in English Language and Literature. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a semester at the University of Pennsylvania, where she developed in interest in pursuing a law degree. Outside of APALSA, you can also find Freya as a Technology Law & Policy Scholar. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, watching art films, and playing the bamboo flute.

Claire Tsui

About: Claire is a 2L at Georgetown Law interested in regulatory law and cross-border transactions. Prior to law school, she studied political science and health policy, though she took enough courses in ancient history to major in that too. Outside of APALSA, Claire is part of the Georgetown Law Dance Club and President of the Georgetown China Law Society. She's always down for discussing books and media, exploring a museum, getting schooled in video games, or wandering around DC with a camera in tow.

Shana Chen

About: Shana is a 2L and tech law scholar at Georgetown with an interest in IP/tech law. She studied policy and computer science at Princeton and spent her gap year on a scholarship learning Mandarin at NTU in Taipei. On campus, Shana is part of SBA, Barristers' ADR, GLTR, and the Technology Law Clinic. Off campus, you'll catch her going for a cheeky jog, casually dominating trivia/board game night, harvesting kombucha from her pet SCOBY, or likening every situation to a How I Met Your Mother episode.

Ellen Zhang

About: Ellen is a 2L at Georgetown Law with an interest in tax law. She is originally from Shanghai but grew up in North Carolina, and before law school, she worked in corporate consulting. At Georgetown, she is involved in APALSA and Tax Council, the student group for tax-interested JDs and LLMs. Outside of academics, you can find her volunteering to help people in our community file their taxes, playing games on her brand-new Switch 2, or cooking up a nice meal.

About: Eugene is a 2L from Ridgewood, New Jersey with interests in corporate law. Prior to law school, she studied Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) at Dartmouth College. In addition to APALSA, she is the President of the Korean American Law Student Association (KALSA) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year and is also on the e-board for the Women of Color Collective and First Generation Student Union! Eugene enjoys discovering new music, sight-seeing, and spending time with friends.

About: Sudeesh is a rising 3L at Georgetown Law pursuing a JD/LLB dual degree program, concurrently studying at King's College London. At Georgetown, he served as Private Practive Co-Director for the South Asian Law Students Association and on the Student Life and Wellness Committee. He is drawn to APALSA as a space to build meaningful connections within the community and support fellow law students in their professional and personal growth. In his free time, you can find him exploring DC's neighborhoods, staying connected to his network across Singapore, London, and the US, or diving into a good book.

About: Justin (he/him) is a 2L interested in public-facing environmental and land use law surrounding transportation and infrastructure justice. He is a Staff Editor for Volume 39 of the Georgetown Environmental Law Review and is entering the Environmental Law & Justice Clinic in the Spring.
