About: I was born and raised in Beijing, China, and came to the U.S. for my undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley before continuing straight to law school. Outside of school, I enjoy biking, ballet, and exploring new restaurants. APALSA has been especially meaningful to me, as it has provided both lasting friendships and valuable professional connections. My goal for this year is to serve the API community by strengthening connections and bringing more resources to our members.

About: I am a 2L at Georgetown Law with an interest in life sciences / technology and the law. Before law school, I studied Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania and worked in life sciences consulting in Boston. At Georgetown, I also serve as President of SIPLA and staff member for GLTR. In my free time, I love working out, playing tennis, farming, and continuing my hunt for the best sweet treat in DC.

About: I am a 2L at Georgetown and a Double Hoya. I studied Theology with a concentration in medical ethics and I am interested in health law. Outside of APALSA, I serve as co-Treasurer for the GU Paw Center and Events Chair for RISE. I like to wind down by listening to podcasts and cleaning, and I could talk about my cat and my trip to New Zealand forever.

About: I’m a 2L at Georgetown Law with an interest in Finance. I’m from Shanghai, China, and before law school, I studied Business and Philosophy at UNC Chapel Hill. At Georgetown, I’m involved in APALSA and serve as a Staff Editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Law. Outside of academics, I hope to spend this year playing more pickleball and getting in more time on the slopes skiing.

Outside of academics, you can find me practicing my golf game, hiking and exploring the DMV’s trails, or unwinding with a steady stream of cat photos and videos.

About: Hi everyone! I’m Lale (she/her), a 2L at Georgetown Law. I’m originally from China and am Uyghur, and I studied law at Fudan University in Shanghai before coming to Georgetown. My legal interests include international and regulatory practices in the private sector. Outside of school, I love going to the theater and trying out new restaurants with friends. This year, I’m excited to help more students connect with alumni and peer mentors and feel supported and empowered through our APALSA community!

I also love trivia nights and watching basketball games/playing fantasy basketball.

About: I'm from Chicago, IL and came straight through from Northwestern University, majoring in Social Policy and Psychology with a minor in Legal Studies. My favorite part of undergrad was studying abroad in Montpellier, France, and I hope to study abroad during my 3L as well. I am part of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal and Recruiting Director for Georgetown International Law Society. I love playing tennis and watching European soccer!

About: Hi there! I’m a 3L interested in tax law, legislative advocacy, and public finance. I studied Psychology at UC Irvine and transferred to Georgetown after my 1L year. This past summer, I was a summer associate in Kirkland & Ellis’ Boston office. In addition to APALSA, I’m also on the e-board of the American Constitution Society, have externed at the SEC, and will be participating in the Federal Legislation Clinic this spring. Outside of school, I love watching Muay Thai/MMA and am on a mission to visit all of DC’s free museums before I graduate.
