Michael Lam

Transfer Section Representative

Hometown: Toronto, Ontario

Undergrad: University of Toronto, 2012

About: Born and raised in Toronto, I am a die hard Leafs fan. My path to law school has been "non-traditional" at best. After college, I worked in the telecomm, finance, and retail banking industries. I also coached, trained, and instructed a variety of clients through various hockey and personal training companies, including my own. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and staying active on the ice, outdoors, or in the gym. My goal is to build experience in M&A and private equity.

Undergrad: University of Southern California (USC), Class of 2017

About: I was born and raised in southern California, so moving to DC is an entirely new experience for me. I enjoy drinking boba, singing loudly when no one else is listening, and giving human names to non-human things. As an undergraduate, I was very heavily involved in the APA Student Assembly and developed a passion for supporting API students and building a strong sense of community. I'm also very enthusiastic about oldies music, all things Disney, and USC football.
